“My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in the relaxed luxury of Hope and Glory Inn. Our lovely cottage was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and furnished with everything we needed for relaxation and comfort. The inn’s luxuriant gardens, pool and sitting areas are a delight for the senses and complement the inn’s romantic ambiance. We loved the delicious hot breakfasts delivered to our door each morning. And we happily tasted the inn’s fine signature wines at the onsite Dog and Oyster micro vineyard, along with a lunch of perfectly-prepared local seafood. All of this alone would impress, but what sets this inn far above any B&B establishment we have experienced is the hospitality and genuine kindness of owners Peggy and Dudley Patteson and their dedicated staff. Guests are welcomed, pampered and attended to with a perfect blend of graciousness and professionalism. All together it made for an unforgettable weekend. Hope and Glory is a special place, one we highly recommend and hope to return to for another visit.”
“My husband and I stumbled upon the Hope & Glory Inn over Memorial Day weekend while exploring the area. Peggy and Heather were so kind as to get us accommodations last minute. We immediately fell in love with their whole setup. They put us in their 'Detention' bar area and we read through journal after journal of hilarious stories from their previous guests and their reasons for why they've been bad! Haha. They offered us a glass of wine and got us all setup. Peggy personally escorted us to our cottage and walked us through her lovely little garden. The room was great, we lit the gas fireplace, and had nice showers. The only note we had was the outside landscape lighting does make it's way through the curtains so the room stays somewhat bright during sleep. Some blackout shades are recommended. But then we awoke to french toast, sausage, and orange juice and had a nice little morning. We highly recommend the stay and have already referred our parents to go stay!”
“This was our second visit to the Hope and Glory Inn, and both were flawless. Hosts Peggy and Dudley offer the warmest, most gracious hospitality, making the inn feel incredibly inviting. The dining experience at the Colonnade restaurant is world-class; Heather provides attentive, delightful service, and Chef Meseret is a culinary genius. She prepares every dish with heart, and the food is simply divine. Despite a long day's drive to get there from SC, the instant calm and exceptional experience make it worth every mile. It is the ultimate place to relax and renew. Highly recommend!”
“We visited Hope and Glory for a brief getaway. While the weather didn't exactly cooperate, our stay was delightful. Peggy and Dudley Patteson are exceptional hosts, greeting us by name and catering to our every need throughout our stay. Our cabin was lovely - comfortable, clean and cozy. We requested latte's for breakfast and Peggy came through, offering to serve us breakfast in the Inn instead of delivering to our cabin as is the usual process. We also enjoyed dinner at The Colonnade in the beautiful lobby of Hope and Glory. We would definitely recommend this lovely Inn.”
